Living in service to Life.

July 2009

Masked Liberation

Open to the sadness
There is joy inside
Crying to be seen
Begging to be explored

Open to the madness
There is peace inside
Flailing to be noticed
Screaming to be heard

Open to the lies
There is truth inside
Daring to be glimpsed
Pushing to be felt

Open to the chaos
There is purpose inside
Clamoring to be discovered
Fighting to be known

 Open to the heartbreak
There is love inside
Aching to be met
Longing to be savored

Open to the death
There is life inside
Preparing to be found
Awaiting to be experienced

Stages Of Love

Moving through stages
That seem
Absolute
Clinging to
Thoughts
Of what has happened
And what I want
Creates dis-ease

Moving through stages
Reveals the
Patterns
Showcasing the
Perfection
Allowing me
To loosen my grip
And question apparent truths

Moving through stages
I experience the
Emotions
And let go of the
Thoughts
And in that way
I am free
To savor life

More Than Form

When the human race
Identifies with form
Emotions and thoughts
Take on a quality
Of dramatic reality
Creating fear

Seeing only the physical
Elements of life
The human race
Overlooks the essence
That binds the atoms
And animates form

When we believe
The physical form
Is all we are
Letting go
Can seem harder
Than hanging on

Emotion and thought
Are simply energy
Passing through stages
Of seeming reality
Creating an experience
We call life

When we open
To our innate eternity
Emotions can guide
Our experience in form
Thoughts can accomplish
Great feats of wonder

All emotions are love
And knowing that
Our thoughts are driven
By a celebration
Of this stage
We are passing through
