Becoming Eternity
The utterly concurrent
Arising and dissolving
Of this unique experience
Of immeasurable life
Gives rise to the illusion
Through calculated precision
Of the permanent impermanence
Of unrelenting time
Through opening beyond
The doing and undoing
Of every seeming thing
That seemingly is done
Reveals the deepest essence
Outside all comprehension
Of the absolute experience
Of the eternity of Now
Expanding on the structure
Of how we learned to learn
Shifts all understanding
Of what we thought we knew
And brings a human grace
And an otherworldly peace
To the never-ending state
Of becoming what we are
Disconnect
I offer sacred love
You see
indifference
I present deepest joy
You receive
only sadness
I offer sacred space
You regard it
as suffocation
I present deepest nourishment
You feel only
hunger
I offer sacred wholeness
You imagine
separation
I present deepest safeness
You know only
fear
I offer sacred wealth
You judge it
as deprivation
I present deepest unity
You endure
only isolation
I offer sacred eternity
You perceive
death
I present deepest truth
You sense
only injustice
I offer sacred peace
You
internalize is as violence
I present deepest healing
You
experience only pain
You cannot speak my language
So instead I
will speak yours
Interlacing sacred patience
And the depth
of true compassion
This trusting faithful gesture
Will
penetrate your being
Reviving the connection
To the sacred
depth of I
Moment Of Truth
Emotions
Too big to bear
Incinerate
All sense of self
Leaving only
The signature vibration
Of a single judgment
As it arose
From limited perspective
In a futile attempt
To guard against
An experience
That already is
Isolated
From all other thoughts
This one judgment
Is exposed as a fraud
Allowing you
To penetrate deeper
Into the illusion
From which it sprang
Feeling too small
To contain
Such enormity
And then surviving
Reveals the truth
Of what can be borne
Life as you knew it
Has ended
Creating an opening
For new possibilities
And realizations
Of innate eternity
To arise from the ashes
And guide you though
Those experiences
The innocent self
Was powerless to navigate
Who is it that deemed
That experience
To be unbearable
Anyway?
Bittersweet Surrender
I feel like I
Am in quicksand
Or a bad dream
Where I can’t escape
No matter which way
I turn
In my awareness
I know
Even these
Most painful moments
Are sacred
Offered in service
From the higher Good
So that I may stretch
Beyond concepts
Of a limited self
Every ending
And each exhale
Is a new beginning
Each layer of form
That dissolves
Reveals more of that
Which is formless
Within
And without me
I will not resist
This devastation
I will become the peace
That is also here
I will bear the unbearable
With surrender and gratitude
So that life may live
More fully Though me
